MUST DIE! has released his first original of the year, a stunning dubstep number overflowing with refreshing ideas in an otherwise oversaturated genre. The formidable producer had an exceptional 2020, releasing a handful of genre-bending singles such as “HELLBURST” and “NERVE DAMAGE.” Capitalizing on this momentum in the new year, MUST DIE! remixed fellow Never Say Die frequenter Kompany‘s “Feel It All” in January, now followed by his new single “SORROW TECH.”
“SORROW TECH” is everything a MUST DIE! fan could ask for. The producer flawlessly intertwines elements of multiple genres, incorporating acid influenced arpeggiators with ominous vocal pads before slapping listeners in the face with a dubstep drop that will leave their jaws on the floor.
The breaks feature bright blips that pulsate over an aggressive background screech, meshed together with multiple melodic elements that prevent the song from getting stale. If “SORROW TECH” is representative of how the rest of MUST DIE!’s 2021 will go, bassheads are in for an exceptional year.
