Out as the newest record on Welcome Records is Turbo, a total of six singles combined into one EP by producer and DJ LINK. Formerly known as LAXX with some groundbreaking releases under his belt for labels like Never Say Die, he is forging a new path for himself and going back to his roots.
Turbo pays homage to the clubbing and rave sounds that the artist grew up listening to in the UK, and it traverses a wealth of dance styles including old school, trance, hard house and techno. From the tracklist, we particularly rate the likes of ‘The Concept’ and ‘On A Roll,’ which are packed with edgy vocal slaps and immersive melodies.
