Swedish House Mafia Share Details Of Debut Album ‘Paradise Again’ In New Interview

With their headlining tour confirmed, the final piece of the puzzle for the resurrection of Swedish House Mafia is their debut album, Paradise Again. The trio confirmed they were putting together a full body of work upon the announcement of their return, but in a recent interview with NME, they shared the album was whittled down from 45 different tracks.

The idea of producing an album was initially jarring to members of the group. Sebastian Ingrosso even said he “wanted to jump out the window” when Steve Angello suggested the idea of putting together a full body of work.

In the past, the trio survived on singles and occasional mix compilations like Until One and Until Now. However, in the spirit of renewal, the trio is ready to dive into what’s different on all levels including a different release format.

“In the past, we put out single after single, and it was almost like we were chasing something,” Ingrosso told NME.

The three singles Swedish House Mafia has released so far from Paradise Again demonstrate a very different sound from previous releases, as well. If this trend continues, their live show will surely be something no one is expecting.
