Ticketing Platform DICE Acquires Famed Live Streaming Series Boiler Room

The nascent ticket, livestream, and music discovery platform, DICE, has acquired fellow live streaming platform Boiler Room. The news comes soon after DICE announced they had raised $122 million in investments from external parties.

Boiler Room has been a staple in the live-streaming market since they hosted their first event in 2010. From there they have held over 8,000 performances by 5,000 artists in 200 different cities. DICE only added live-streaming to their services during the pandemic, but they have managed to support over 6,400 artists during that time.

“The combination of Boiler Room with the distribution and technology of DICE creates substantial opportunities in a sustainable, transparent and fair model,” says Phil Hutcheon, Founder and CEO of DICE. “I’ve been a fan of Boiler Room for years and they’re world leading in bringing incredible experiences to fans.”

“DICE has built an incredible platform by being laser-focused on creating the best possible experience for fans and event partners – their app now has millions of music fans accessing live music around the world,” says Blaise Belville, Boiler Room founder.
