The temptress of techno, Nicole Moudaber, has just launched a brand new mix series on Apple Music entitled “In the MOOD for…” Moudaber will record an exclusive mix for Apple every month, and each mix will have its own theme.
To kick things off, Moudaber’s first offering in the series is called “In the MOOD for International Women’s Day.” Moudaber is a leading figure in the struggle for equality within dance music, and this latest mix consists entirely of music from female artists including exciting newcomers like SOHMI and HoneyLuv to more established talents like La Fleur, Yulia Niko, and Ela Minus.
“Mis amores, welcome to my first exclusive mix for Apple Music. Every month, I will be ‘In the MOOD’ for something different, but we start with my mix celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day. I’ve been putting these special mixes together for years now, celebrating female artists across all genres. For this one, I wanted to really celebrate the international aspect with artists from Lima, Toronto, NYC, Manchester, Berlin, Paris, Colombia, and more all represented. We start with some chilled Peruvian house beats from Sofia Kourtesis—featuring the legendary Manu Chao—and we end an hour later with some seriously fierce hard techno from Raven. This, I promise, is one girls’ trip you don’t wanna miss. Hit it!” says Moudaber.
