REZZ and Subtronics have delivered their highly anticipated collaboration, “Puzzle Box.” Arriving as a joint release between Deadbeats and Cyclops Records, and with both REZZ and Subtronics currently on tour, “Puzzle Box” developed in the blink of an eye through Twitter and is sure to vibrate through venues across all of North America. Both producers are out supporting their recent albums; REZZ released Spiral last fall and Subtronics dispensed his debut record, Fractals, in January.
Filled with eerie tones and disconnected laughter, the track boasts gritty instrumentals that perfectly blend Subtronics’ wobble with REZZ’s edge. With a slight industrial feel and cascading tones, “Puzzle Box” toes the line of haunted and rowdy, just as both artists are.
With steady touring ahead and new albums recently under their belts, “Puzzle Box” proves that REZZ and Subtronics have no plans to slow down.
