Jimmi debut as a DJ in 2001 on BACARDI ’s Red Hot Road Trip, and headlined alongside DJ 7up, Xavier, Ctrl-X, and Lovenug at Cleveland’s Metropolis Nightclub later that year.
Sighted on bills showcaseing EDM legends Electric Skychurch, Paul Johnson, Scott Hardkiss, Tommy Sunshine, Jason Tyler, DJ Venom, and John B. to name a few, Jimmi is recognized in the United States underground rave and nightclub circuits.
Featuring contributions from Jimmi Journey , Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, and Underworld, author Mark J. Butler’s book “Unlocking the Groove” won the Certificate of Merit for Best Research in Recorded Popular Music 2007 by the Association for Recorded Sound Collections.
