Dillon Francis is partnering with 20th Century Fox TV and writer Spencer Porter (“Family Guy,” “We Bare Bears”) to bring a new animated series called “Gerald’s World.” The up-and-coming piñata seems to have finally found his limelight in television thanks to the help of his owner and professional DJ/producer, Dillon Francis.
Gerald is Francis’ piñata best friend and fan favorite character from the social media-savvy entertainer. The lively piñata lives in an awkward corner of the WUT WUT producer’s house and gets into mischief that includes butt implants, getting lost at a Panic! At The Disco concert, a wild first birthday party with all his piñata friends, and way too many other adventures to count. Gerald even helped Francis pick an outfit for his Coachella performance this year.
This is not Francis’ first rodeo with shows, as he produced a video series called “Like and Subscribe” that landed on Funny or Die’s YouTube page. Curating “Gerald’s World” will be quite the wild ride in an already epic lifetime of Snapchat and Instagram stories.
